Appearance: White light powder.
Features: Insoluble in water and ethanol, soluble in acid and ammonium salt, strong moisture absorption, absorb water andcarbon dioxide if exposed in the air.
Use: Suitable for rubber, cable & wire, dyeing, grease, glass-ceramic and so on.
Packing: Lined with plastic bag, outside woven bag, net weight 15kg or 20kg per bag, cutommize according to the need of consumers.
Physical and chemical properties:
White powder, odorless, non-toxic and tasteless.
Relative density (melt crystal): About 3.58g/cm3.
Melting point: 2852C
Boiling point: 3600C.
Insoluble in water and alcohol, while soluble in acid and ammonium salt solution. It may transforms to crystal after high temperature burning over 1000C. When the temperature is up to over 1500C, it will become to dead sintered magnesia or sintered magnesia. Picking up moisture and carbon dioxide from air to generate basic magnesium carbonate.

MgO can also be used as silicon steel grade magnesium oxide's raw material. Widely used in the major steel plant after processing. Special magnesium oxide can be customized depending on the special requirement of application.
